These few pics survived only in negatives I found in a clear-out. They are of little Ed (aged two) with friends, relatives and a dog. Some places in the pics are still there today as described in the captions of the photos.

Young Ed in tartan trews on the Witches Hat, Hatton Hill Park, c.1960. Love that little dickie-bow! Oh and it looks like I was a blonde back then!
A special photo of me in the front garden of 5 Hatton Hill Road with my cousin Aileen who passed away nearly three years ago now and still sorely missed.
Aileen and Ed, 1960. Taken on the same day as the last pic. Who would have though eating half-an-orange was so much fun? If you go to the same spot today, you can still find that concrete step behind us, almost buried in soil now but still there.
Little Ed with *I think* with John Watson - a lad from number 90 Hatton Hill Road (a “police house" directly across the road from the prefab visible on the left in the background). May be wrong this is John - please MOGUIL put me right! John Watson used to love playing out and in fact he taught me how to write before I went to school. The other character here is "our Mick" the lovable mongrel that I still remember today. A lovely gentle dog and there is a pic somewhere of us both sleeping in the front garden with my head resting on Mick...
Again another "I think..." and our Stella will put me right or wrong on this - is this Garry?[McGrath]. It's taken in the back garden of the prefab with the Jubilee pub in the distant background. My Mum certainly loved her lupins..
Ed on the Rocking Horse at the top end of Hatton Hill Park - the "police houses" are in the background (no 88 and 90 Hatton Hill Road) and are still there today.
